Good interview!!! It’s cool that MVP is both really hood and a student of the game. I haven’t heard a WWE employee speak this freely about Benoit since the facts came out, respect.
PS: I think Ciph’d be more into an ROH show really, it’s at Manhattan Center, you get really close to the action and there’s more emphasis on the spots than the stories…

Yeah, Ciph can definitely be a massive prick. He’s one of those people who can’t just not be into something, but has to act like anything falling outside of his tastes is below him.
That being said, entertaining interview. It blows my mind that guys like MVP, who are naturally super charismatic and able to talk up a storm, are so heavily scripted. It seems at times like WWE looks at natural mic skills as a detriment, and would rather push somebody who can robotically read lines, without any of that pesky creative input. Even a guy like Cena, who is naturally witty, has been reduced to delivering the same groan-inducing Captain America promo week after week.
