You, Your Girl, and Ghostface!

Starting at 7:20 am tomorrow, the best contest ever begins. Well that may be a bit of a hyperbole, but it is pretty epic. Ciph and I are taking your emails at BPJ@hot97.com telling us why you need a romantic night with your girl (or your man–we don’t judge). We will select five lucky couples who will have a romantic dinner with Ghostface and then hang out at his show next week to celebrate his new album, “The Wizard of Poetry”.
I believe that this opportunity will help our relationship in that we could talk things out including a third person’s point of view. Our differences in our relationship is basically from the stress on family indifferences. My “mother inlaw” basically doesn’t accept me in her familly, in what I believe is that I come from a different race (African American ) and she is first generation Greek. That’s what I believe is the problem, even though there are other escuses that is thrown in to take place of the racist point of view. However, I had a feeling that in the beginning that herother eould give in eventually understanding that this may be something new to her and her dreams to marry her daughter away would be a traditional one, but after all they living in America so what the mother expect? I still want to give them all I can, and be succesfull with the family but I believe she will not give in, because it had been eight years later with two children and she still has not attempted to invite me in for the holidays, instead I’m usually alone for a couple of hours at their get together just for the kids. I know Myra, my girl, goes through a lot for being in the middle, and this will be a great opportunity to show that I care for her despite the lost love we have for eachother and find it buried under all the “BS”. Family and friends feel for us and my side of the family do not get involved because they beloved it’s better that way. I have attempted and thought about asking fof professional help and even went to her church fof guidance, they help but just temporary. There are more to the story of what we go through, but I learned that they are negative thoughts and just move forward. My kids are my life and I need to protect them when they get older from “negativity” and keep them doing activities that will make them better people, and mold them into great leaders because I see them as being very successful people and that’s my responsibility to start them off great. So please help us as a family and keep us united strong, and taking this opportunity is a sign that there is hope and that everything will be ok.

Pick me Pete! Ghostface is my favorite rapper of all time. Wutang is always bumping in my whip, which is a source of tension between me and my girl. We recently got enganged early August and have been arguing about our “first dance” song for awhile. I want Ghostface - Camay to be our song but she wants some Jack Johnson BS or something. I think a dinner with Tony Starks would change her mind. Keep up the good work! You guys have been cracking me up since the first Juan Ep. Also, I knew Dave E in HS and he put me on your radio show in Maryland. Been a big fan ever since. Was awesome to see you rocking the D.Ellis shirt on the first show.
