I’m about to go to a very early brunch with my friends. 10 am is too early for a brunch. The earliest time for a brunch should be 11 am–and I prefer 11:30.
Tonight is the Oscars which I am really looking forward to because I want to see Mickey Rourke win so bad. This is the only award show that I actively pay attention to. One thing that really gets my goat (yeah I said it) is the fact that “The Wrestler” is not nominated for best picture. Do you really think it can’t hold a candle to “The Reader” or is it that the word “Reader” is in the title–and not “Wrestler”.
Without fail–there is a movie nominated every year that I would not watch based on title alone (think “The Piano”). Beyond best actor, I don’t really care what goes down. Best Picture–”Slumdog” or “Benjamin Button”. I didn’t see “Doubt” and though “Frost/Nixon” looked ok, I certainly wasn’t thinking Best Picture when I saw the preview.
Shit I’m late for brunch. Comment or die friends! I’ll try to get better at this blogging thing.
Last thing I want is for Benjamin Button to win best picture. It’s either Sean Penn or Rourke for best leading actor. Penn played a gay guy, so I feel like Hollywood is gonna give him the nod.

Lol nice post Rosenberg, this is what i want yes…I don’t understand why the wrestler wasnt nominated for best picture, it seems you have to have some fancy pants smart name to win the award.
I’m hoping for a big win for slumdog as i thought it was a phenomenal movie. Everyone kept talking about it and i thought, what the F could be so great about, a random film set in indian?
But when I took this hot chick to see it i was blown away, it was deeper then i thought, it wasnt 100% sub titles like i thought also. Great movie and i hope it wins something.

yeah pmd, i’m set to watch the oscars too. i’m pulling for heath for obvious reasons. off topic, but i know you had to be hype about them terps yesterday? aww man, we beat duke this week, we’re definitely in the tourney. and you hear that new budden yet? i’m like 8 tracks in, and impressed (minus the future w/ game).

Wus up Rosenberg. I’m not really on topic with this, but can you start posting the show each day even if your not able to do so until late in the day? I’d like to check the show out each day and don’t like getting it from Ciph’s site b/c I’ve gotten a virus from trying to download stuff off the sharebee links more than once.
