Jericho Attacked by Fans–and Fights Back

It ain’t easy being the best heel in the business and sometimes insane fans make things impossible. In what appears to be legit video and not a work–Jericho throws a few bolos back at some crazed Canadian fans after a house show in British Columbia. Now I am always against swinging on women, but once you spit on a stranger, it is hard to feel a whole lot of sympathy for what you get back. The best thing about this video is that the not-so-big Jericho clears out about 25 people simply by getting a little bit angry. I hope the WWE does not punish Jericho for this. It’s just good for his character.

  3. You know what? I cosign on what Jericho did. Its not 1980 anymore where we all assume wrestling is semi-real. You want to attack a man and test his character? Be prepared to face the consequences. Same way I don’t blame any celeb from defending themselves when people want to act out of pocket. He could’ve actually did worse, and when he got pissed, those people showed how “gangsta” they were. Reminds me of how Scott Hall had to stomp out fans who tried running in the ring many times. This definitely boosts his heel cred 1000%

  4. im not saying i co-sign what he did, but it could’ve been a lot worse… plus, this makes his current angle that much deeper.

  6. What Jericho did was completely fine. first and foremost, security should do their f*cking jobs and keep the fans away from him and his property. Second, if a fan encroaches upon an athlete, they’re gonna get their ass handed to them.

Oh, just because she’s a woman that means that she can spit on or hit someone for no reason? GTFO!

If you wanna put hands on someone, don’t think that just because you have a vagina, you won’t get touched.

  7. I don’t know about this he should’t have hit her.
Was that like Roid Rage or something? Everybody cleared after he hit her.

  8. Ok. I want start off by saying that what those people did was completely bs. You can dispute weather Y2J was right or wrong by hitting the girl, but the fact of the matter is that he is a professional wrestler, a WWE superstar, nobody has the right to treat anyone like that. Those fans pay their hard own money to see their favorite wrestlers win or to see their least favorite get beat up. The wrestlers are liable to perform to the best of their abilites for a 2hr or 3hr show and afterwards they have no right to stop and talk nor give any autographs. Call it what you want, if they want to stop and take a picture then by all means its appriciated but don’t disrespect a wrestler just because they dont want the fans attention. Alot of people don’t realize that these guys are on a very busy scheduel and Y2J may have been in a rush to make a flight or something of that nature so he didnt have time to stop. The girl had no right to get in his face and DEMAND a picture. Where is her morals? She needs to respect the star that he is. To be honest with you i was front row at a house show one time in Pittsburgh and after y2J’s match against RVD, he walked around the ring and took pictures with the fans. I was one of them. Fans need to realize that WWE superstars work very hard into producing a product to entertain millions of fans around the world. So im on y2j’s side. She may have wanted just a picture but she got more than what she asked for.

  10. I think its a work. Smart if it is. The Larry King interview, the awards show tease, now a viral video. WWE may have caught on to a new way to sell the storylines to a much bigger audience. Jericho is the perfect vehicle too.

  12. “Jericho, you suck!”

    LOL

in the eyes of the law, he defended himself accordingly, so it’s all good. and if anybody has a problem with him then sue him.
people can’t seem to distinguish fantasy from reality so they attack him? forget them. good thing Jericho threw an ass-whooping, they deserved it, I’d done the same thing… he should’ve run their ass over with his Cadillac. LOL

  14. And they tellin’ him to get a job…… HELLO Wrestling is FAKE…… His firing was apart of a storyline…… he’s still a WWE Superstar….. on vacation…… the Chris Jericho you see on WWE is just a character….. he is prolly best friends witt’ the McMahons…… they had no business harrassing him like that…… and he had every right to defend himself since there was a minimum amount of security…… he prolly would’ve been cordial to them all….. but they blew their chance……

  15. Fans need to start realizing that idols are people too.

There is something seriously wrong with you, if you like a guy enough to want his autograph, and if he can’t comply (and how could he in that situation?) then you spit on him!
