RIP Paul E. Normous

I called several of Paul’s (left) matches and was so happy to see him in The Wrestler. This breaks my heart. Another wrestler gone too soon.

A professional wrestler who appeared in Mickey Rourke’s acclaimed movie The Wrestler has been found dead at his parents’ house.

Paul Fuchs, 33, also known as Paul E. Normous, had a cameo role in the film which won Rourke a Golden Globe.

Fuchs was found unconscious in the New York home. Medics tried to resuscitate the 6ft 6in wrestler, nicknamed Teddy Bear, but he was pronounced dead in an hour.

Police Lieutenant Brad Weidel said it’s being treated as a “medically related death”.
