Oh come on PMD, Rourke definitely deserved the best actor but The Wrestler wasn’t the best movie of the year. The acting was better than the movie itself.
You gotta see Slumdog Millionaire if you haven’t already. That’s my movie of the year. Benjamin Button and Gran torino were also very good.
i agree with the 1st comment. Slumdog Millionaire is probably the best movie of ’08. I just saw Gran Torino this weekend and i loved it as well. Clint Eastwood was great in the flick, but the rest of the actors in it weren’t good.
I have yet to see The Wrestler. It comes out in 2 weeks for me so I’ll go see it when it’s over here. but i’m really interested in seeing it. I hear it’s terrific.
Yo Rosenberg what ever happened to Video or even Audio of the Premier sit down you did awhile back? I finally broke down and watched the bootleg now only because I was hoping you would drop a legit copy
Mickey Rourke deserved it, def not best movie. I loved gran torino and expected to hate it, am i the only one whofound clint eastwood hilarious but in a good way. Im pretty sure the younger people in the movie were all non actors, only one i had seen was the chubby chinese kid, and evne him they were bad but they were real, like wannabee ass vietnamese thugs do sound like that, the one black guy ill admit was terrible.
After seeing slumdog win all those awards and the fact that NO ONE has said its anything less than amazing, i feel like i can only be let down when i see it.
