Big Sh*t Poppin

A lot’s been going on recently that I’m amped up about and I wanna let the hardcore heads know whats up…
First things first. On December 11th, I got something crazy going on. I’m going to be at the 92nd Y Tribeca doing the first installment of a live interview series that I’m going to be doing. We’re going to have a dope house band a couple of ill djs to open up and then I will sit down with my man, DJ PREMIER,to spend an hour talking about his career, his life, and most importantly, his incredible catalogue. More dope details to come next week. Ticket prices will be beyond reasonable, but there’s only going to be about 100 tickets available. Should be fun.
On January 19th, I will be hosting an inauguration party in DC that is going to be something like a hip hop dream. I will announce the venue and final details next week, but the DJs will include Pete Rock and Cipha Sounds and the artists are going to be crazy. I’m not a partier, but even I’m looking forward to wronging out with my schlong out that weekend.
I’m also looking for a home for the full Rosenberg Oddisee project. We have a few songs left to record and the ones that have been completed since the Rosenberg Oddisee EP (in another one day session) are just stupid. It will be out one way or another in early ‘09. I am also releasing a full album produced by Kev Brown that was recorded in 2004 but never came out. I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite albums of all time. And no one has ever heard it. More on that very soon too.
Lastly–Real Late this week is stupid. It includes full interviews with 88 Keys and Devin the Dude and a brief phoner from Kanye West. It airs Sunday night at midnight on Hot 97.

Looking forward to the kev brown, I’ve been playing the cy young album a lot recently so would be good to hear something new.
Make sure you have more of the skits on the oddissee LP, I usually hate skits but on that one in particular they really fit the theme and didn’t have that cheesy scripted feel to them that most skits do. (Keep em short though!)
