The new John Legend album is a real disappointment, I fear he may have peaked already as an artist. His first two were classic, but he raised the bar so high that to release “Evolver” and have it be this mediocre is not good for his legacy. Hopefully he turns it around and goes back to what made him great. People will probably say he’s trying to “expand” as an artist, but the problem with that theory is that he he was already one of the most versatile soul artists out there, so he really didn’t need to “expand”, since he was already doing a lot of different things with his music.

I agree. So many times, especially in r&b artists go away from their bread and butter.

I saw John Legend at the gym les mills in wellington New Zealand a few years back with his body guard.
The guys is only 5″5 or something.. Incredible voice though..

I wouldn’t know how Solder Boy sounds - cos apart from some snippets and shorts clips on TV that I somehow stumbled upon, I’ve never ever, ever ever, ever, ever, heard one (1) of his songs from start to end.
Therefore I declare that I don’t give one fuck bout him, his family, life, money, and everything else that’s somehow related to his persona.
