  6. The good thing is that Pete doesn’t talk on here anymore otherwise there would be a race hate storm about to blow up. He was joking. End of that….

Trust me tho you can say what ever you want to him……check it out:

Pete!! Wrestling is fake, Turtles are lame, NJ is better than you on the morning show, Tha Carter III is not the album of the year, you look like a cross between Ari, Turtle, King Of Queens and the Dad from Rosanne. Fuck it, throw Rosanne into that as well………….

Its like slapping a alligator……..no wait….this is what happens when you do that:

  13. Yo Pete, I know it’s sometimes tough to stay on top of this shit when you have two shows within like 4 hours of eachother in the early hours of the morning, but are you gonna continue posting the “Real Late”s here?

    mark p. | Aug 4, 2008 | Reply

  14. ^^^ word.

Imagine if Cipha Rosenberg had the same playlist as Real Late…

the universe would probably collapse on itself. So it’s probably a good thing that it doesn’t happen.

    PEACE!

  15. I am glad that NJ voiced the growing concern amongst hip-hop fans that Mos Def shows are not what they used to be…

  16. ^^
I’m also glad NJ said that. I can’t speak on the NYC show but when RTB came through here Mos was definitely the low point of the show.

  17. ZOOMABLE PICS — That brought me back to WJFK back in the days… skipping class chilling in my dorm room listening to you and Daryl Franchise talk politics and other bull-ish. Good times man…

  18. I just love all the new shit he plays on Real Late that I haven’t heard. I wouldn’t have known that Bumpy Knuckles “How To Rob ‘08″ joint existed if I hadn’t heard it on that show, for example.

  28. I like Zshare, I’ve never had any problems with it unlike tons of other downloadportals. I hope Berg stays with Zshare.

Regarding the monday show and the Obama-Ludacris situation. I’m pretty sure Ludacris knows that making fun of the elderly and calling women bitches doesn’t make his Obama endorcement super-PC, but that can also work to the advantage of both Luda and Obama, as Luda might reach an audience that wasn’t thinking of voting and get them excited about the election. That has a far better chance of happening than in the last two elections, as Al Gore was seen as extremely uncharismatic compared to Clinton (which he’s made up for in spades since), and Kerry was more of “anything is better than Bush”-guy, which isn’t really an exciting platform. So I think this time is really the first time in decades that the younger vote will be important. And all the stuff about Obama acting like a celebrity - The Republicans put a b movie actor in office for two terms in the 80’s.

On the other hand Obama doesn’t have to align himself with Ludacris (who doesn’t have a superclean track-record), and doesn’t have to say he shares the views of Luda, since they’re so obviously non-PC. This isn’t far from the Sister Souljah case which 100% helped Clinton.

So I’d say this could work out as a win-win.

I blogged a little about the presidents and hip-hop a while back: http://hiphopsimpsonsandwrestling.com/?p=76
