Damn, so I missed Pete running his mouth about Puff (fuck all that “Diddy” shit)? Saddened that I missed it.
Honestly, when I first listened to the podcast, Puff’s arrogance just annoyed me to no end. I mean, it’s one thing if he sees you guys’ show as unimportant and doesn’t want to grant you a long-form, more substantive interview, but to sit there eating, smacking his lips into the mic, it’s just such juvenile, blatant disrespect.
Puff hasn’t been relevant to hip-hop music in a decade, and even back then, it was on the back of people with actual talent (Mary J., Big, even Mase to an extent).
He fell the fuck off the moment he didn’t have somebody to leech off of. People bought No Way Out for “Benjamins” and “I’ll Be Missing You”, not because they found Puffy engaging. If they did, then his other 3 solo records wouldn’t have gone double wood.

i was really looking forward to seeing what would happen after the Fat Joe Juan Epstein…i only predicted to people Diddy would eventually show up and flex.

Wow…so Rosenberg took down that post right quick huh? And regarding the show from the 30th - Diddy is one of Cipha’s heroes?? Seriously?? The more I listen to Cipha, the less I want to…the show has no real flow or feel to it, maybe it’s because it’s new & they’re still finding their way a bit; i enjoy the banter between the two of them, but what is the point, exactly, of getting a time & weather update before *AND* after every song?? Pointless….and the other day i thought my ipod was skipping when “Mr. Carter” started playing yet again: i am now officially sick of that tune. More from me later….
