just sumthing i noticed this show compared 2 juan epstein… rosenberg sounds exactly the same as on juan ep, where as cipha sounds like a completely differnt dude…interesting huh? interesting take on who actually keeps it “real”

about NYC Puerto Ricans dropping the n-bomb
My $0.02 on it (as if anyone cares)
consider that many (most?) Puerto Ricans’ have SOME ancestry from these 3 groups:
1 Taino natives/OGs of Puerto Rico/Boricuen(sp?)
2 Euro colonizers, mainly from Spain
3 West Africans that the Euros brought along
Keep in mind this intermarriage (or at times unfortunately raping) happened 100s of years ago in PR.
PR Cats like Ciph, Big Pun, J Lopez, etc prolly have such ancestry.
It seems logical that cats like this should be “allowed” to drop the n-bomb.
Either that or non-latino “light-skinned blacks”, who prolly have a similar mixture of some black, some Euro and/or Amerindian ancestry, such as Jason Kidd, should also refrain from n-bomb usage.
Also latinos without African ancestry or other groups (Asians, Arabs, etc) without African ancestry, should refrain from n-bomb usage.

Rosenberg, about ur time issue, here’s some unsolicited advice that should do the trick of
1 being ontime for work
2 assuage Ciph’s concerns on #1
1 Stay up at night
2 Whatever time Ciph gets there, get there earlier, at 3:30a or 4:00a (whatever is guaranteed earlier than Ciph
3 Goto bed whenever you get back home from the station after the show & whatever meetings, like at 12p
4 Set alarm for around 8p. If you have roomates that have a “regular business hour” schedule, as a backup, ask them to wake you up before they go to bed
5 Don’t brag or explain this plan to Ciph or any coworkers. Just do it, no Nike. That way it will be a “pleasant surpirse” that “exceeds their expectations”
After 4-6 wks of consistently sonning Ciph in terms of getting to work earlier than Ciph, Ciph will be happy & this issue will be closed. At that point, just get there in plenty of time for the show, doesn’t matter if it’s earlier than when Ciph gets there.
Sometimes in a workplace, it’s easier to change one’s behavior to placate the “senior coworker” (Ciph in this case), than to argue with the senior colleague about “changing the system”. Eg “pick your battles” for times when it’s truly worth it.

Do your thing Pete. But, yo real talk get rid of MJ, she is not a strong on-air presence, sounds mad amateur, she still needs some seasoning, perhaps on the night show. If you had a more powerful personality, it would sound more polished IMO.
