Could this be the end of Juan Epstein? I really don’t know. Ciph and I have not discussed what the future holds for that drunken Puerto Rican Jewish son-of-a-gun, but this Thursday, we will convene to record a special “What will happen to Juan?” episode of Juan Epstein. We will address our futures at Hot 97 and the fate of your favorite podcast. Thursday evening you will get some answers.

“as a lazy unemployed student enjoying the summer, which wont be as funny now that we dont have Juan EP on demand. Since alot of people don’t wake up early enough (from partying and what have you) to enjoy your new am slot. I wont make this out to be a “cipha you know what you should do/or do this ciph” type of post.
But…I would love a “BEST of Ciph Peter (mixed in with some Big Boy/NH).” In the meantime while some of us build up the courage to change our luxurious sleeping habits to tune in the am (for the tristaters) to look foward to once a week that people can download just like they would juan ep. I’ll continue you to support you and Ciph no matter what you guys decide to do with Juan Ep but if this is the end of the podcast you should find a way for us outside of NYC to listen to the Cipha Sounds/Rosenberg show. You might not be able to post the full shows but some clips or videos for the Juan Ep fans who’ve discovered you guys over the past months would be great. Afterall not all of us listen to Juan Epstein just so we can come online to talk shit/complain about a part two.

You guys should just do what you did for that 2-part behind the scenes ep, and just record your morning show, except instead of the songs, we get to hear you and ciph talk off the air.
It’s just as good as the regular show, and I dunno, you guys may be able to put up 5 eps a week instead of one. In any case, it would definitely serve as a way to “standardize” the show rather than having it be a random length of time on a random day of the week.
You and Ciph already have a radio show. All Juan Epstein has to be is you hitting record when the show starts, and stop when the show is over.
As far as incentive, I have several seasons of that Ricky Gervais radio show. There are a lot of episodes that were done on the radio that were not uploaded to itunes.

JUAN EPSTEIN is my weekly fix, it would be so irresponsible of you guys to cut the show.
Unfortunately, i (amongst the rest of the world outside the new york/new jersey bubble) do not get to listen to hot 97.
And in addition to the random unrelated points above, heres one more!
I understand rickey gervais is one of the biggest influences for this podcast, in that case and in true ricky gervais style the least you owe your fans is an insatiable ending to juan epstein
followed by the birth of another project to keep “the punters on their toes”.
if behind the scene recordings are what you conceive as the re-birth of juan ep, then so be it!
but like no.22 said, u guys need to man up! and drag your asses {pause} into a room with mics once a week and talk stupid shit!
However if this the end, then thanx mr juan and mr epstein!

I def hope Juan Epstein continues. I’ve put the show on to plenty of people and they all love it. It would be nice if the new AM show was available on Itunes as well for us that listen out of NYC. I’ve been supporting Rosenberg since his days at WJFK in DC, followed by “The Attic” with Daryl “Franchise” Francis aka Quartermaine…and I will continue to follow and support the show wherever it goes. so, you read the book “the tipping point”, right? well i think you guys are literally right there as we speak. i just started fucking with your podcast in the last 3 weeks and i’ve put on at least 5 of my friends since. listen, i know how the industry is - it’s not ultimately about fans, it’s about money. but once this podcast becomes pandemic, it will get to the natural point where a reality show or some type of lucrative endeavor spawns from it.
to me, this makes only too much sense…

You cant be serious!! I’m from Sweden and this podcast is what i practicly live for. I can’t figure out one good reason of why you should quit the show.
This show dosnt just help me with my hiphop nerd game, you ninjas have thought me how to eat wealthy (i only eat junk on sundays), it inspired me to be a better businessman (i bought the “how come that idiot’s rich and im not” book)and it definetley helped my Dj:ing .
The first day i discovered Juan Epstein i listened to all 8 episodes that was out at the time in one day, after that i’ve been thinkin every day, what are they goin to talk about in the next show?
I just came home from a trip in France, during my free time there i’ve listened to every episode over again, and then i came home and saw this, it truly fucked my day up.

London radio is pure garbage, I’ve rinsed out smoothbeats and I cant get Hot97 in England.
I only found out about your podcast a few weeks back..and I’ve already heard all your podcasts.
You’ve got gangs of listeners both outside NY and worldwide and you both know your providing something real unique, niche in the Hip Hop genre.
I understand ya’ll got your careers and whatever to think about, so I wont hate on either of your decisions….it was a fucking good run. But either way can you at least hit us up with more behind-the-scenes episodes once in a while.
