Tim Russert Dead/R. Kelly Acquitted

Wow what random bad news that is on both counts. I don’t know very much about Tim Russert beyond the fact that he truly loved what he did for a living and did an awesome job on election nights. Apparently he collapsed while working back in Washington. My heart goes out to his family. Journalism has lost some good people recently.
R. Kelly? Where do I begin? That deserves its own post. It’s absolutely unbelievable that he survived this unscathed. I can’t wait to hear whatever bullsh*t song he comes out with about his trials and tribulations. Poor Kels.

I never really watched russert other then the jokes stewart and colbert make on his interviews.

I am deeply saddened by the lost of Tim Russert. He was the one tv analysis/journalist/interviewer I MOST respected. I planned my Sunday’s around Meet the Press! FUCK!!!!

I interned at This Week with George Stephanopolous a few years back and remember just how Tim and the Meet The Press machine that he had built was almost unbeatable. This Week has made some strides in the past few years to close the gap, but the competition on Sunday mornings will truly be missed. He was one of a kind.

R Kelly’s lawyers did a great job of delaying it until people stopped caring or forgot about it
plus he knew not to make an enemy out of that little girl, they’re saying she’s living with him and her parents are getting hit off with money
