2-0 !!

The Celtics still have a lot to do, but regardless of what happens Tuesday night–I would like to throw up a big middle finger to the MANY people who told me the Celtics would be dominated in this series. No matter what happens from here on out–the Celtics being dominated by the Lakers is officially off the table.

The Celtics added insult to injury on Sunday by
having Pau Gasol shot with a bee-bee gun from the stands

I have said for months that I like how we match up with the Lakers. I don’t know why. I just do. It also helps that Kobe has played worse than I can remember him playing in a long long time. That said–this series is FAR from over.

BEAT LA!

Sidenote — As exciting as it was to see Leon Powe have a great game–isn’t it also a bit befuddling? Yes befuddling. Where has Leon been? Why doesn’t Doc remember his bench? Do we still have Eddie House? What about Big Baby? I don’t hate on Doc, but he does drive me crazy.

  1. Doc’s notoriously bad at managing his lineups. He’s played Big Baby Davis & Powe some games, then sat them for 3 or 4 games (or only play them 5 minutes). How does a guy get 21 points in 15 minutes (but only plays 15 minutes as he’s obviously playing the game of his life?). For some reason Sam Cassell’s corpse deserves more minutes than a much younger Eddie House.

I don’t think pundits & Laker fans appreciated how different the Eastern conference’s style would affect the games. The Lakers don’t have a savvy veteran post guy like P.J. Brown or rugged guys off the bench like Powe & Posey. LA’s a more perimeter oriented team & Boston is really attacking them. But, remember the year the Heat won. Dallas had them 2-0, almost 3-0. Miami won 4 straight. I’m pulling for your Celtics though.
