Now or Never….

Tonight is the biggest night of the election so far. Tonight we will probably know (though the Clinton campaign will protest no matter what) whether this country is ready to move forward or if it’s going to stay in the exact same mediocre place. That’s what this really comes down to. People who want change versus people who are happy with the status quo.
Republicans are happy with the status quo. So are fake liberal Democrats who pretend to be progressive but really are no different than Republicans. You know who else loves the status quo? Reverend Al Sharpton and Bill O’Reilly. People who prey on people’s fear and self doubt want to keep everything just like it is. That’s why Rev. Al is obsessed with the Sean Bell verdict but not with doing everything he can to help Senator Obama win. The Sean Bell verdict was that good old status quo. They gotta keep promoting that so they have something to stand on. Obama winning changes EVERYTHING. It would change the direction of this country forever. It would be the biggest political moment of the century–maybe the biggest thing since FDR. Maybe bigger.
If Hillary somehow sweeps tonight–those of us who want change could be in big big trouble.

it’s just like eldridge cleaver wrote in SOUL ON ICE…black “uncle tom” celebrities (Cleaver’s words, not mine) like Al Sharpton are mere tools of the establishment, they serve the interests of the power structure: to help pacify black rage against whites for past injustice, and to misdirect from truly worthy goals.
whether you believe Cleaver’s take on things or not, the bottom line is that Al Sharpton needs to start talking about what’s really important.
PS: Barack’s fade is looking mad tight!

Tonight only makes changing the status quo relevant if Obama wins. Al Sharpton has every right to place his attention in an atrocity that has gone without punishment. If Obama doesn’t win tonight, that’s on him & his campaign & the people in Indiana & North Carolina, NOT Al Sharpton or Bill O’Reilly. Al & Bill exist because there are people who believe in their ideals. Though I respect your passion & idealism, Obama’s still ahead in delegates & states won. But his winning this nomination & presidency “…would change the direction of this country forever” is wishful thinking. I hope for that, but I’m not holding my breath.

Fuck al sharpton. He’s whak. He can’t do anything revolutionary and probably is a tool of the white man, in a more broader range. Not like osama bin laden is to the bush administration.
I doubt Hillary gains momentum and gets a sweep. She’s been done for a minute and the news reported that she can’t even win she’s only banking on Super Delegates fucking up the system by voting because she came close towards the end (if she somehow wins 60:40 in the rest of the states).
Yo Rosenberg, heres an idea for a juan epstein episode: Just like you guys did the guess the bpm for tracks with cipha… you guys can each get a collection of tracks and see if you can guess the production. Like awhile ago I heard pharrell produced NORE’s superthug track…You guys could prob get some tracks before producers were big and see if you guys can tell which producer made it. Maybe some Polow tracks, Cool & Dre, Dilla to test you, PMD. Timbo and Dre would prob be easy to tell.
