Pete, LOL @ the whole segment about Dilla’s estate and the Billboard full page ad. I didn’t even know about that. I’m gonna run and cop that @ B&N if I can find it. My crew and I received ALOT of resitance when we produced the last Donuts Are Forever event here in NYC back in February. But we managed to smooth things over by taking his photo and name off of our advertisements and such. The party was an amazing success, regardless. All of our donations went to the Alliance for Lupus Research. However it is true that TONS of idiots out there are making dough off of Dilla’s name and putting it right in their pockets. Which forces them to do things like putting full page ads in industry magazines. It sucks so bad.
