Yeah I’m a little under the weather and resting for my trip to Orlando this weekend, but I had to throw together a little preview for the wrestling heads. I also went to the Wrestlemania Press Conference in Times Square today and caught up with a few WWE Superstars.
Note: This podcast is for actual wrestling fans. You probably will not get it or enjoy it if you’re not currently interested in the WWE.
Ah, man - one day in Juan Epstein or just on the blog you should explain what’s the phenomenon of wrestling - how fake fights and something that’s like third rate theater can be somehting you get so crazy about. I’m from Europe and I just can’t get it…

the WWE is also huge in Europe..you could ask someone there too…

Great interviews, but yo, Shane Mcmahon underrated? He’s done some sick bumps, but is no where near the status of true extreme, hardcore, high flyers who are out there week after week busting their butts. Like you said. ShaneO has a chip on his should so he wants to steal the spotlight regardless of how many people get held down. I do agree, he should be back on TV though but only as a heel character. He’s one of the few guys that can actually get you to really hate him. But he needs to leave the stunts alone and let the real wrestlers indulge in some glory.

Finally a reasonable person talking about wrestling…
1. John Cena sells bumps like J-Kwon sells albums - poorly.
2. Undertaker is the Busta of this game.
3. Carlito is the best un-popular wrestler on the roster. Athletic, got a bad ass scowl, a classic bad-guy that doesn’t get any push anymore.
4. Batista is in NWA in 6 months if he loses to Umaga.
5. Santino Morello is hil-ar-ious.
6. Flair will always be the champ. No homo.
7. Floyd-Big Show…? Not. Interested. (c) Carl Weathers.

carlito is pretty awesome and santino cracks me up..he sucked as a good guy but hes hilarious as a heel…
Undertaker is a notch above Busta I’d say..I think Taker is ..well..I guess Busta is a good comparison cuz of the longevity..good call
you know who is a great wrestler who is always in the shitter? Shelton Benjamin..no personality and bad blonde hair, but he’s a great wrestler..
