Props to Eli Manning and the Giants who truly showed giant hearts tonight. I am shocked at how badly the Pats played (Brady in particular), but the Giants went out there and took advantage. They fought to the end and deserve all the props in the world. By the way–big “shut the f*ck up” to all the Giants fans who booed the Giants and wanted Eli traded you no-faith having SOBs. Shame on you!

Rosenberg’s post game notes :
1. Did Strahan just punk out Terry Bradshaw on national TV and in front of the entire live audience? That glare and tone tells me yes, but I’m not sure if the “false sense of confidence” line was referring to Bradshaw comment.
2. Belichick’s no mercy attitude did not serve him well tonight. Going for it on 4th and 13 was a disaster, as was leaving the field before the game was over. Also that post-game interview–ridiculous. How classless can you be? You’re a grown man and the leader of this team. Answer questions. Your kid didn’t die. Your team lost. It happens in football.
3. Speaking of that interview with Chris Myers. Did anybody notice how terrified Myers was to ask ANY tough questions? He’s not going to win the Bonnie Bernstein award for aggressive awkward questioning immediately after a championship loss. What a softy.
4. Why did Stuart Scott just start Sports Center with “what’s good”? Does he actually have a team of writers who help him sound that out of date? Oh my God. He just said “Bradshaw’s just a big country eatin brother” followed by “can a brother get some?” Kill me….
5. That Manning play. You know–yeah THAT play–may be one of the top five best plays in NFL history. Period.

The “false sense of confidence” was referring to a comment Howie Long, Strahan’s boy, made during the pregame talk this week. Strahan was pissed when he heard it & the D looked serious.
