The Beginning of the End…

Thank you Dan Snyder. Thank you for proving to everyone that Joe Gibbs coming back was a complete and utter waste of time and energy. You know–it’s funny. During Gibbs’ send off press conference, a reporter asked Snyder what he had learned from working with Gibbs. And as I watched Snyder fumble for the words to cover up the truth–which is of course, “I NEVER learn a thing from anything or anyone”–I remember thinking that Redskins’ fans might really be in trouble. That was proven true this weekend when Snyder ditched Gregg Williams (the man Gibbs and most of the players had wanted to succeed him). Yet again, the Redskins coaching staff is being ripped apart at the seams.
The amount that Redskins’ fans have suffered since Gibbs first departed after the ‘92 season has been excruciating by any standards. The players released by Snyder, the coaches he’s hired, the way the team has managed to lose–it has all been torturous. This season was a new level, though. Obviously there is no way to blame Sean Taylor’s death on Dan Snyder, but I can certainly try. Let me talk straight with you. There’s such thing as bad karma. And I don’t know if Dan Snyder runs over dogs in his spare time (shout out to M dot Vick), but this man’s karma is killing my football team. When will it end? How can you not learn? How can you ignore the entire local media and fan base? How? How? How could you do this Dan?
I’m not saying Gregg Williams was definitively the answer at head coach, but keeping him around was critical. This team went through a tragedy together last year. It was important to keep that defense on the same page and to keep the team spiritually healthy. That is all gone.

this has to be the worst layout I’ve ever seen
great article though

Word, the functionality takes 2 steps forward, but the design takes 5 steps back.

Snyder has become the Al Davis of the East. It just kills me to see him be such an arrogant prick who has the audacity to think that he knows how to run a successful franchise. He wants to be Jerry Jones and he doesn’t realize that JJ makes good personnel decisions. Snyder and his fluffer Vinny Cerato do not. They need a GM to make all the right decisions around here and until then, they will be a joke in the NFL. Also, who the fu*k hires a OC and DC before the coach?
