What a Disappointment..

There’s good old Bill Clinton making black people believe at an NAACP event several years ago. Shock of all shocks–Clinton is just as big a phony as everyone else. His recent comments disparaging Barack Obama have shown that when push comes to shove, he cares more about politics and power than anything else. Supporting his sort-of-wife is one thing, but continually pointing out Obama’s apparent lack of experience and youth is downright insulting and borders on racist. Let’s not forget, the original “comeback kid” was 46 when he ran for president. Obama is 46. John Kennedy was 42. As for experience, Obama’s pre-candidate life mirrors Clinton’s in many ways. Deep down do you think there’s any chance Clinton thinks Hillary is really a better candidate than Obama??

fuck the clintons really, you dunn know bill needs hillary to win cuz he will be doing everything it ain’t about her at all, its all about him. but really fuck the clintons straight

Bill Clinton’s comments are not racist. His comments are valid. Obama has been a junior Senator with his eyes on the presidency for at least the past year, if not his entire Senator term. Now, his youth can be a plus or a minus. Be he is inexperienced. The difference between Obama and Hillary Clinton, experience-wise, is negligible. She probably has more experience dealing with foreign dignitaries & having a connection to a ton of issues after 8 years in the White House. Obama, conversely, has none of that. He has experience dealing mostly with members of the Illinois State Senate & doing organizing. When Bill Clinton ran, he had the opportunity to run his own small country (Arkansas). The reason Governors are more likely to win the presidency is because they have actual accountability for their actions. Senators can blame the other party or even their own fellow party senators. This is politics. Calling criticism racist is just silly. No matter who you support, this is a long political season.

Is there any doubt that Hillary Clinton is behind all this? We’ve always known that the Clinton gang was the original Bush-Rove-Card gang. They were the prototype, but we didn’t mind because they were on our team. But now, if you’re supporting Obama they are not on your team, and you can see the levels they will stoop to to win.
There is an orchestrated subtly racist campaign to garner support for Hillary. There’s all the emails which MJ has pointed out (which I have received also). There’s Bob Kerrey reminding people that his name is “Barack HUSSEIN Obama.” There’s Andrew Cuomo’s shucking and jiving line. There’s Bill reminding people that he is inexperienced, and a “fairy tale.”
It’s no coincidence that this is all happening at the same time. I got one of those deranged emails this week.
Now I’m not trying to say the Clintons are racist. I’m just saying that when they run the risk of losing, they will walk a very fine line and if it means playing on peoples’ basest instincts, they will. And the Andrew Cuomos of the world are happy to take the fall so they can ingratiate themselves with the Clintons…

You definitely need to talk about this on the show tonight, PMD.
I probably would not have taken such offense to Bill Clinton’s fairy tale comment, had I looked at it exclusively. Had it been the only comment coming from the Clinton campaign that struck me as a tad racist, I probably could have brushed it off.
But, then you read about the Andrew Cuomo quote and her “guacamole and chips” quote in Las Vegas and the blind quote from the Clinton camp about “your imaginary hip black friend” and the comments from Bob Kerrey and the LBJ/MLK snafu and the comments about drug use from Shaheen in NH and HRC’s flip flop on mandatory minimums…I could go on and on…
Isolated, I can forgive Bill Clinton for his comment, but together with all the other incidences of subtle racism coming from their camp, it sounds VERY, VERY suspect.
