The Show Will Be Up Tomorrow–Until THEN–PEEP GAME

Well we did it. Yeah the Skins didn’t make the playoffs yet, but we did it. We bounced back from a tragedy in team sports unlike any other in history. The Redskins marched into the dome in Minneapolis and reeled off their third consecutive win since Sean Taylor’s funeral. Jason Campbell was injured, Joe Gibbs was maligned, and the team was in the dumps. Since then, they have pulled together and become the most dangerous team in the league not from Foxboro. While the national media drools over the Patriots quest for a perfect season, the real story in the NFL is the resurgence of a team that was ripped apart by the death of a young superstar. If the Skins can beat a resting Cowboys’ team in Washington on Sunday, they will slide into the playoffs as the six seed. I have a hunch the waiting Seahawks will be pulling for Dallas.

So until the show is up tomorrow (no Juan Ep this week, but Real Late is a special THREE hour edition), I figured my new listeners might enjoy this weird but kind of good documentary that was done about me while on the air in Washington. It’s four parts, but here is part one. Granted I’m a touch biased, but I think it’s pretty well done. I actually didn’t do it. A couple of high school kids did. Check it out…

  1. Whats good Pete. The documentary was real good . Was cool to get an insight into your old days on talk radio. I guess alot can happen in a year. WJfK in Washington to New Yorks biggest Hip-Hop station Hot 97.

Lets hope 08 carries on the way 07 did with the addition to Hot 97 with the only credible Underground Hip-Hop show left on New York airwaves.
