Teddy Hart Uncut
By pmd on Dec 12, 2007 in Real Late, Wrestling |
A lot of people have negative stuff to say about Teddy, but he has been nothing but class in my dealings with him. I really hope that WWE wakes up and brings him back to form the New Hart Foundation. It would be incredible..
In this interview, Teddy discusses his uncles, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Vince McMahon, his time with WWE, and much much more…

Here is the uncut interview from Hot and a bonus 15 minutes for the website only.

Great interview. Ted Hart is everything he says he is: the past, present and future of professional wrestling. I wish him luck.

Yes, Teddy Hart has all the tools capable of being big. He seems to have grown from the days when he was no-selling the best moves of his opponents, but that past is stuck with him. It’s on his resume. He flips and jumps freakin’ high, but Vince McMahon didn’t get rid of him for that stuff (he has other “high-spot wrestlers” in Jeff Hardy (ugh…) and Shelton Benjamin), Teddy Hart by most accounts was already on an incredibly short leash because of his past indiscretions.
Remember the disclaimer: “please don’t try this at home”. If a little girl can be killed by a clothesline or a cartoon choke, what could happen if some child tries to emulate that style of Teddy Hart or Jack Evans? Vince McMahon has a potential damaging lawsuit on his hands; and in the current state of the wrestling business, the industry dies without his presence, as his promotion is the American gateway to other wrestling the world, like Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Dragon Gate, HUSTLE, Chikara, etc. Teddy Hart has fewer legitimate places to ply his “art” if WWE is out of the picture.

Great interview. Rosenberg hit it right on the nose when saying that he imagined Teddy cutting a promo whenever he spoke. I was thinking the same exact thing before he mentioned it. I actually saw Teddy perform at a JAPW show a couple months ago. It was during the main event, Homicide vs. Loki and at the end the lights went out and came back on and Teddy was on the top rope. It was surely the biggest pop of the night. He did some crazy shit off the top rope to Homicide, I can’t even explain what it was it was so absurd. Its a shame the New Hart Foundation got scrapped considering theres not much of anything interesting going on in the WWE besides Edge, Taker, Punk (who seems to becoming more and more ‘WWEized’) and Ken Kennedy (who constantly gets buried and squashed week after week… ok now I’m just rambling, but its easy to become frusterated with that company). Hopefully Teddy resurfaces somewhere… RING OF HONOR!!!!!!

The entitlement issues make absolutely no sense to me. Instead of trying to make his own name for himself, he’s trying to just use the Hart name as much as possible to his advantage. Clearly, I’m not the only one who thinks he has attitude issues, otherwise he would be on Smackdown right now. I think he’s really entertaining to watch, but listening to the interview, its clear that all the guy does is talk out of his ass. I never once criticized anything outside of what he said in this interview, and almost everything he said sounded amazingly terrible. “I’d like to consider myself a doctor of professional wrestling” - Teddy Hart.
