Sean Taylor : 1983-2007

All the prayer and vigils were not enough for Sean Taylor. Another talented young kid has been killed for absolutely no reason. He was the best player on the Washington Redskins. This feels no different for me than the loss of Biggie or Big L (Biggie also died at 24), or any other talented young man with a family who is struck down before his prime even began.
He will be missed by his family and friends for so many reasons. For myself and other Skins fans, he was the bright spot for the last several years. He was the one positive in a sea of inconsistency and negativity. His off the field drama always seemed less important than his effort and play on the field. Maybe we wanted to ignore the stuff or maybe he really was a great kid. His coaches and teammates loved him and he was a magnetic player to watch. He was a sure hall of famer in my eyes–one of the best I’ve ever seen play defense. I’m speechless.
Being down here in DC, I’m pretty shocked by how this went down. Dude got shot in his home with his girl & child in the house. This shit is tragic. NY cats will not understand what Taylor meant to this Redskins team. Such a senseless act.

We don’t know the facts yet, but suppose this incident is for retaliation purposes? He pistol whipped a dude. He has been convicted of battery. When you do stuff like that, it comes back to haunt you. I’m not saying he should have died, but to say he died for “no reason” is rediculous…

There is a backstory to this…Sean did some thuggish shit…Every action, has a reaction.
You are acting like this is clearly a random act of violence…I believe when the facts come out, if they ever come out, that Sean was targeted.
You can’t deny he had a past…He had cats shooting up his Denali!
And I never said murder was warranted…But there is a thing called karma.
I like to see you be a public figure, pistol whip a dude, or beat someone ass, and not expect to get retaliated on by crossing the wrong cats. If you knew a thing about Miami, Florida, you know there are people you just don’t mess with.

Yo MTG, fall back real quick. Yeah, Sean Taylor has a past which may potentially have contributed to his untimely death. Just remember that the man passed this morning. Shit is still fresh. People will be angry about it and about comments which assess blame to a man who is now dead. The fact of the matter he died for absolutely no reason. Cats may have had a reason to want to harm him and his family, but his death was for NO REASON. Saying so doesn’t make PMD or anyone else ridiculous.

DMAX…This is a blog where people express their opinions…And yes, I still stand by there being a reason…No matter how you try to spin shit. It is sad, but you can’t ignore the circumstances.
And maybe I am angry that he allowed himself into this position. We can all sit around and mourn when some rapper or athlete gets killed, but when are we going to deal with the REAL SHIT on why this kind of stuff happens?

I stand by what I wrote and I have NO IDEA why anyone would ever want to discuss what he did to somehow deserve this. No matter WHAT HE DID–he did not deserve this. He was a kid. His family didn’t deserve this.
