We made it. We survived the worst time of the year in terms of sports. And I’ve never been more ready for the football season to start (except maybe last season and all the seasons before that). So it’s time to talk predictions. Please feel free to respond with your own–even though I invariably will get more right than you. Put your money up dun–put your honey up!!

Quickly–if you want to make some money during this first week of the season (the worst time to bet–or the best–depending on the game), here are some quick pics….yeah this first week coulllld be rough…
St. Louis -1.5 at home against the Panthers
Washington -3 at home against Miami
Cleveland +5.5 at home against the Steelers

Damn Pete, you got murdered on your picks… I didn’t fair much better myself, though. As for the Redskins, glad we’re 1-0, but, I’m not glad that we couldn’t put up more than 17 points. If this team cant score 17, 21 points each Sunday they’re more likely than not going to lose. Defense looked a lot better with good old Smoot in there aside from the faking injuries and dropping interceptions, and Rocky McIntosh is looking like a beast. It really makes you wonder what he was doing on the bench last season… But anyways, lets get Philly next.
