O’Reilly Hates Vick, but Hearts Dogs

I was already planning on writing a piece about just how up shit’s creek Michael Vick is, but then I turned on the talking pile of shit that is Bill O’Reilly and was amazed yet again. I know I know. How can I be amazed by this guy every single time I hear him open his mouth? But it’s unfathomable. It is criminal that there are Americans out there who believe this guy is fair and balanced. Here are some of the amazing facts from tonight’s O’Reilly discussion on Vick in no particular order.
“Everyone involved in this is a sadist”
“This dog fighting is promoted in gangsta rap”
“I know thousands of people and NONE of them have ever seen this”
Time to get that Pulitzer ready–this is brilliant…
O’Reilly is one the most misinformed jackass. I’m almost 30 and have been listen to Rap/Hip Hop my since I got hooked when Run DMC came out. No where can I remember hearing any artist promoting Dog Fighting!!! If it ever was show me an example Damit! I agree Vick messed up big time being from VA myself all I can do is shake my head and watch how this case plays out. Lets say if this would have been Ben Roethlisberger would O’Reilly blam Rock music???? Hell no he wouldn’t! Thank God they gave him the boot here in D.C. We miss you down here Pete wish it was your show back in the afternoon. Wish all the best up there in the NYC!

comments two and three are patently ridiculous… but i actually agree that everyone involved in dog fights is a sadist… because the definition of a sadist is someone who derives pleasure from the suffering of others… and these dogs are definitely suffering. And people are having fun watching them suffer. So yeah, they are f-ing sadists, and deserve to have their nuts dipped in bacon fat and then be locked in a room with an aggressive and very hungry pit bull. That treatment is appropriate for O’Reilly too, but for different reasons. But ultimately, in the context of this issue, Vick is by far the bigger douche bag.

Did he play some clips of DMX while saying that the dog fighting is promoted in gangsta rap? Maybe some various cuts of Snoop dissing other rappers…or even Bow Wow dissing Lil’ Romeo.
Damn rapping dogs.

O’Reilly is a brilliant dude, and I give him credit for that. Anne can’t master the subtlety that Bill works with and definitely lost her “credibility” because of that. But Old Bill never fails to come with the most outrageous, inflammatory, illogical Waspy shit without people immediately writing him off. So credit given where credit due.
However, I do write him off. So aside from golf-clapping his steez, I’d be a worse person to not immediately ignore him. Nice blog/radio show Pete!
