Michael Moore fucked up again. Every time he does something awesome (”Sicko”), he does something obnoxious to follow it up (his appearance on CNN this week). Fox needs no help making him look like an ass. He does it all himself. Why would he use his appearance on The Situation Room to tear apart Wolf Blitzer? Of all the people in the media, why Wolf?? If I have any critique of Wolf (who admittedly is a friend of mine—NAAAAAME DRRRRROP), it’s that he is NOT opinionated enough. Gimme a break, Mike. Do I have critiques for CNN? No doubt. But isn’t Fox News the clear enemy of justice and good journalism here? CNN is at least semi-credible and unbiased and let’s be real–Wolf is just so much easier to pick on than that fat monster, Bill O’Reilly. Props to Wolf–who handled it like the ultimate professional, but no respect to Michael– Moore who appeared like an angry little kid because Wolf knocked Fahrenheit three years ago. Step up and go after the real enemy, dog.
I know I sound like a lunatic, but I can almost guarantee you that this Chris Benoit story is going to end up dramatically different than it first appeared. Toxicology tests are complete and though the results have not been disclosed, it appears that early tests did not confirm Benoit to be the killer of his wife, Nancy. Now that obviously does not mean that he did not do it, but it could open the door to other possibilities. It is mind boggling to me that to me that throughout the last three weeks, no one has ever suggested that this could have been something different than it initially appeared. Obviously the most likely scenario is what we all assume it to be–a double murder suicide. Let me just throw a few ideas at you. Number 1 - usually after a crime like this, someone comes forward to suggest something that may have made the murders conceivable. There has been nothing so far. No neighbors, family members, no friends, no one who has anything to say beyond the fact that the relationship was strained and some points and that Benoit could be very quiet. Still, it was probably Benoit right? Well there’s also the fact that Nancy Benoit’s ex-husband, Kevin Sullivan, hated Benoit. Benoit stole Nancy from him in a case of life imitating art, and shortly thereafter, left the company Sullivan was booking for, WCW, for the WWE. He took three friends and top stars with him and WCW spiraled.

Rumors have been that Sullivan continued to be at least semi involved with devil worship (which was also part of Nancy’s on screen persona). Two weeks before the Benoit deaths, “Sensational” Sherri Martel also died. Her death was determined not to be of natural causes, but has not yet been fully explained. Sullivan was once managed by Martel and Nancy Benoit was known to have had a strained relationship with Martel. Ok fine I sound crazy, but still, interesting right??

To your second paragraphs last statement: You are wrong. Sullivan was on FOX NEWS on the 28th of June, where he touched both on Sherri and Nancy, obviously not in hiding.

yo Sullivan probably has control of the doctor that’s handing out the roids to all the wrestlers. if Sullivan wasn’t in the study with a candlestick in person, he probably had this all set up.
it’s always easier to make this into a conspiracy, but seriously, why would benoit kill his son and his wife… roid rage and shit just isn’t convincing

pete,
one thing you’re not including as it relates to the departures of benoit, guerrero, saturn & malenko, is the fact that kevin nash was also booking for wcw. according to the 2004 publication, “the death of wcw”, nash was of the school of thought that said “little men can’t be heavyweight champions.” the combo of that and sullivan’s vendetta, led to benoit’s departure, and wcw’s demise. if sullivan did have something to do with those deaths, why seven years after the mass exodus? was nancy confiding in sullivan during her differences with benoit? this has too many twists. all we can do is stay tuned!

Mr. Rosenberg,
I respect the work you are doing very much, dope radio show.. The Kevin Sullivan theory is scary, I remember Taskmaster was always up to some crazy shi.. Another topic that i feel hasn’t been aired is the fact that the week before Benoit got sent to ECW, which has to be considered a demotion. A legend being sent to the minor-leagues? Depressing stuff, like the Sicko issue.. I respect Michael Moore’s documentary work. CNN’s questionable, maybe it’ll be Wolf Blitzer versus Hugo Chavez on The Situation Room soon.

I completely agree with Cape Crusader… CNN and Wolf Blitzer were complicit in helping the Bush Administration get the green light to attack Iraq. They echoed the party line and never challenged Bush’s propaganda… out of fear of seeming un-american. What Fox did was expected… but CNN is supposed to at least seem to be objective. They sold out! Yeah, fuck em!

I can’t even agree with anything u say about Mr. Moore. If u can’t see that the government sent our teens into Iraq for oil and Afghanistan for an oil pipeline(all under the guise of retribution for a terrorist attack on ny city that the Neo-Cons staged) then u haven’t even began to understand M.Moores position and therefore you shouldn’t have an opinion at all.The U.S is the BIGGEST ARMS TRADER IN THE WORLD AND THERE IS NO U.S ECONOMY WITHOUT WAR.we have been at war as long as u have been alive Rosenberg. If he doesn’t chew out the media who happen to be in the pocket of the politicians who will? Not You.
