My Terps, My Player of the Year, and My New Favorite Radio Show

Man I’m excited for the Terps. This has really been an impressive run. It’s sort of depressing to think about what this team could have been had DJ Strawberry or Mike Jones ever played up to potential. In 2004, all I heard was, “Mike Jones is the most talented player on the team. Watch!” And I watched and waited. I mean this guy was scouted just behind Lebron James. He just turned out to be a great shooter. But these days, him and DJ are clicking. The freshman guard duo of Vasquez and Hayes is going to be serious over the next few years. If the Terps had a real big man, they could be a serious threat in the tourney.

I know Al Thornton’s good but stop looking at his d*ck, man..God

Al Thornton is INSANE. I watched the FSU-Miami game and this kid has it all. He drops 45 points, shoots perfectly from the stripe, and plays insane defense down the stretch. My cousin, Jeremy (who will be writing one of my killer March Madness blogs), put it perfectly about Thornton. “The guys who stick around for four years make the other kids look like youngins”. Or something like that. But he’s right. Thornton is just a step better than everyone. He will be a real baller in the NBA.

You know I don’t support any shows but mine usually. But I found a podcast that I’m a man-fan of and how wrong would it be for me not to plug it? I found a show called Monday Night Countdown.

These guys talk about wrestling in a way that speaks to me completely. Not only do they know their shit, but they make current products seem even better than they are. If you’re one of the many who does not get how the liberal hip hop dj Jew bomber rocks a WWE Championship Belt (yeah the one from the “Bowlin” video), this show sums it up perfectly. It is honestly the only non-Peter Rosenberg show that i listen to regularly. They’re much more centered on the current and recent product, but they know a lot about it.

Ashley is following in Torrie’s footsteps (and Candace, Sable and Chyna).. Umm Yes please…

PS I may have one more pair of tix to give away to Raw next Monday night at the Verizon Center. There are only three Raws left til Wrestlemania 23. It’s gonna be a great show. And sweet sweet Ashley’s Playboy drops that day and seeing her huge beautiful fake jugs in person will be fun.
