I Need a Job (and other random thoughts)

Yeah dude. My JFK money has come and gone (I knew I shouldn’t have bought that 100 dollar chain) and I need to find a way to support my taco bell and vinyl habit. I’m really avoiding a real job, though. I know I need to pursue djing, but I’ve been out of the game for a minute, and it takes a lot to work your way back into the club scene. And idealy, I would love to play good music as opposed to Lil Scrappy and Lil John, or Young Joc and Young Dro—or Young Scrappy and Lil Dro. You get the idea. So if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions on gigs in DC–get at cha cyat damn boy. I’m open to ideas.
Also I want to apologize for everyone who tuned in to yesterday’s podcast and found nothing but old shit. Comcast goes out when it rains apparently and I can’t get an appointment to have it fixed til Friday. Fortunately, things dried up and we’re back in business.
I tried to make up for the missed show with a special in studio visit from J-Live (www.J-livemusic.com). J is legend of the underground now and it was nice getting to kick back with one of the better MCs outta NY over the last decade or so. So check that too! This interview is the equivalent of radio make-up sex to you as a listener.
